Professional career
From a family of lawyers, Me Bigué has opened his law firm in 1977 in Amos. In 1978, his brother, Me Claude P. Bigué, joined him to form Bigué & Bigué Lawyers.
Today, known under the name of Bigué, Lawyers, the firm established by Me Bigué has an office in Amos. Bigué, Lawyers also serves the territory of James Bay.
Me Bigué practices in municipal law, civil responsibility, civil law, litigation and family law. He has to do several appearances at different courts. Since 1997, he is also an accredited family mediator and a mediator for small claims. Me Bigué was teaching law in Québec University before 2000 and he was providing teaching lessons to native people and to regular clients in business law, labour law and in health and safety.
Social involvement
- Active member of the Rotary Amos Club;
- Active member of the Chamber of Commerce;
- Scout movement; and
- Ex-president of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue bar association.
Personal life
Me Bigué is the father of two children and practices sports, does some lectures and travels in the province.
